Section 89
Appointment of liquidator
: (1) If the registration of a cooperative society is revoked according to section 88, the registrar or an officer authorized by the registrar shall appoint a liquidator.
(2) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-section (1), in the case of a co-operative society having assets up to the prescribed limit, the Registrar may appoint an officer or employee authorized by the Registrar as a liquidator.
